Chelsea James, photographed while holding her recently finished Coyote beadwork bag, is a contemporary White River Ute, White Mountain Apache and Irish-mixed artist working in Denver, Colorado.
Known for her Coyote-focused designs and preparing for a new exhibition coming out a week after this shoot, we were actually greeted with a coyote cry from the hillside behind her just before this portrait was taken.
