Stephanie Big-eagle and her son Ezekiel, Lakota Native

Proud Lakota Native and mother Stephanie Big-Eagle holds her son, Ezekiel (God Will Strengthen) Wicapi (Star) Big-Eagle. They have traveled to numerous different Indigenous lands together, including in the Dakotas, New Zealand, and Hawaii.

"I'm homeschooling my son and he travels with me around the world. I want him to understand his identity and meet other cultures and Indigenous people. I want him to understand his culture from its roots and not through others."
